Your Team
Dr Craig Hunger - Veterinarian

I have been working as a Veterinarian since I graduated from Massey in 1998. My special interests are surgery and dentistry. I live in Beachlands with my partner Krista and my two cats, Gabby and Dexter. In my spare time I enjoy golf, skiing, squash and diving.
Dr Andrea Gits - Veterinarian
I am an experienced Small Animal Veterinarian and have been working in South Auckland for the past 13 years. After graduation from Massey I also spent some time in Sydney and then throughout the UK working and on holiday and seeing a bit of the world. I live locally in Howick and have three children which keep me very busy in my spare time. I enjoy the on going challenges that Veterinary medicine offers, and recently completed a business management course.
Dr Lynsey Earl - Veterinarian
I am a recent graduate from Massey University (2009) and have been with Pet Doctors Botany since November 2010. I enjoy all aspects of Veterinary Science but have a particularly interest in Small Animal Medicine. Outside of work I love music, playing netball, and exploring the outdoors, and I can often be seen walking Maxie, my adorable Jack Russell x Maltese.
Joanne Lusty - Veterinary Nurse
I am a qualified Veterinary Nurse. I completed my studies through Vet Nurse plus in 2010. I live in Manurewa with my family. I have one dog and two cats. Animals have always been a huge part of my life and I am passionate about looking after animals when they are brought into the clinic. I look forward to meeting you and your pets when visiting our clinic.
Sarah Thompson - Veterinary Nurse
I am a qualified Diploma Veterinary Nurse. I completed my 2 year course through Unitec, finishing in 2010. I grew up in West Auckland, but left for a few years to work on a thoroughbred stud farm in Waikato. I am now back in Auckland flatting out West with my 2 Cats called Buttercup and Scroggin. I am a very happy and positive person who will always give clients a smile and their pets a cuddle.
Janet Merchant-Practice Manager

I also love the customer service aspect of my job. I have a French Bulldog called “Bee” and a three legged Burmese called “Noel”.
